• PartMaker Essentials / basics course 3-days This class is designed to teach users how to create Swiss Style programming using the Autodesk Partmaker Swisscam interface. The student will learn how to setup toolpaths, tool libraries, cycles libraries and the use of the process table to order, edit and synchronize toolpaths between the main and sub spindles.
  • Day 1 Course Objectives: Day 1 covers the Partmaker Swiss interface including job setup, importing of files, setting up tool libraries, cycle files and learning the use of the setup dialog page and introducing the process table. Turning strategies including facing, OD turning, drilling cycles and an introduction into simple milling ops.
  • Day 2 Course Objectives: Day 2 covers machining strategies with an emphasis on 2D milling operations. Students will explore more of the face windows options, turning operations including boring and groove strategies will be explored. Milling operations include the use of polar strategies, indexing strategies, milling side
    operations and hole making strategies.
  • Day 3 Course Objectives: Day 3 covers machining strategies with an emphasis on 2D milling, cylindrical milling and advanced milling strategies for pocketing and contouring. Synchronization of main and sub spindle, Post processing, Setup sheet generation.
